WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL...

... I spent all the money I could scrounge up on disposable cameras.  My days were spent running around my little Iowa resort town, snapping where sand meets water meets sky.  I distinctly remember the first time I held a digital camera in my hands and the fascination with instant gratification in seeing my images.

My grandmother passed down her love of photographing nature; she took beautiful images of the roses in her garden.  It took me a long time to be brave enough to venture into taking pictures of people rather than nature - how could I possibly take photos of something that had an opinion of the outcome?

Yet, here we are!  The one thing that hasn't changed is the organic and raw moments I capture.  Before, it was wild flowers on the side of an Iowa gravel road.  Now, it's the love between mothers and their children or a beautiful couple in love.

I tell the stories of couples madly in love, precious little miracles and their families, and people who seek adventure at every turn through photography.  I consider myself lucky to get to know them and share the incredible humans they are with the world.

I can't wait to get to know more about you and capture your most valuable moments!
